The Engineer transforms the domain-neutral tool Notitia into a technical expert in any specialist field. For this purpose, the specific vocabulary of an industry is built up and used as the basis for a comprehensive information model. The knowledge graph modelled in the process forms the basis for a compact and expressive graphical visualization and at the same time serves as a bridge to bring together and process information from different sources.

Finally, the Engineer also allows the modeling of basic rules and comprehensive expert knowledge, which forms the basis for later collaboration with a technically experienced artificial colleague.

The processes to be executed are designed in the Designer. Tasks and their interactions with the information model defined in the Engineer are determined. The modeling follows a data-oriented principle, which lays the foundation for later flexible and adaptive process execution. The degree of autonomy can also be defined through user-related or system-related tasks. This can range from simple decision support, where the human still makes all the decisions, to a fully autonomous system such as a chatbot.

The Designer follows the no-code / low-code principle and allows expressive process modeling in the simplest possible way.

In the Operator, the processes modeled in the Designer are started and executed in the context of the industry knowledge defined by the Engineer. The focus here is on simple and effective handling. In order to ensure a well-functioning collaboration between humans and AI, a common understanding - a common mental picture - is ensured by a compact and at the same time meaningful visualization.

The data-oriented principle in Notitia makes it possible for data to be brought in from outside at any time and for the operator to adapt flexibly to a changing situation. This forms the basis for maximum flexibility and offers significantly more than traditional workflow approaches.
